Today’s review is of a brand new subscription box to me, My Dappa Box which is a mens grooming box so with Father’s Day just around the corner (for those in the UK), then this subscription box would make a fantastic and unusual gift idea for your dad or grandad this year!
The box comes well packaged and protected with four products per box, some of which are full sized and others are mini or travel sizes. Thankfully all of the products I’ve received in the April and May boxes have been great sizes, rather than samples or sachets.
Boscanova Primal Suds Coffee Scrub bar
The first item in the box is actually one that I’m going to use as I love anything that is coffee flavoured or scented. The scrub bar contains recycled coffee beans from Boscanova cafe which is so unusual and something I haven’t heard of happening before. I love the packaging and it smells amazing!
Gents of London Structure Cream – Strong Hold
Next up is a pot of the strong hold structure cream from Gents of London which is a styling cream so it could be a unisex product as most of the products in this box can be. It has a really nice and fresh but masculine scent that I think will be subtle enough for most people to like.
Mount Purious Organic Witch Hazel Water
Lastly, there are two skincare items, the first is a bottle of witch hazel water that can be used as a facial spray but I’d recommend more as a specific spot treatment as witch hazel has been know to be great at reduced blemishes and spots so I’d personally apply to only to spots with a cotton bud as witch hazel can be a irritant to some.
Barber Pro Post Shave Cooling Mask
The final product is item with the best packaging and it is a brand I’ve seen online recently. I adore the packaging and the inclusion of a face mask which is a skincare item that I love and I don’t think there are enough for men. It’s a nourishing and hydrating mask from an award winning brand so it’s probably a great mask to try for first time mask users!
