LookFantastic produce the most creatively designed and best value beauty boxes out there and their limited edition boxes are the best of the best. I’ve been lucky enough to try their Valentines, Easter and Mother’s Day boxes this year but I think the most creatively presented is their new limited edition ‘Russian doll’ box. The box design is incredibly beautiful and I love the presentation with it’s pull out drawers and unique layout. I think it would make an amazing gift for yourself or someone else – it could even make an incredible seven day advent calendar. Use the code: ALL10LF to get 10% off the Russian Doll box!
Dr Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Marine Dew It Right Eye Gel
The first item is one I haven’t been able to try yet as I had laser eye surgery recently and it’s the Dennis Gross Gel Gel. The gel contains hyaluronic acid which is an amazing ingredient when it comes to locking moisture within the skin – it claims to provide hydration for 72 hours. I love the packaging, it’s worth a whopping £58 and it’s received great reviews.
Paulas Choice Nightly Reconditioning Moisturiser and Liquid Exfoliator 2% BHA
Paulas Choice is a skincare brand that’s received so much praise but I didn’t know it was available in the UK now. I was instantly intrigued and since my eczema is pretty much non-existent now (since being fully vegan at the start of the year), I’ve been able to try so many new skincare products.
I’ve tried the nightly reconditioning moisturiser a few times now and I love it. It provides just enough hydration and leaves my skin feeling smoother and brighter. Another Paulas Choice product I’ve tried a couple of times now is the 2% BHA liquid exfoliant which is another product/category of products I’ve started using now my skin is eczema free. It leaves my skin feeling brighter and smoother so far.
ESPA Optimal Skin Pro Serum
The final couple of skincare products including the ESPA serum which contains sunflower concentrate, omega oils and echium oils that brighten, intensively hydrate and firm the skin. I love serums, I use them constantly within my morning and evening skincare routine so I’m always happy to try another. I love the packaging, the pipette dispenser and it feels lovely on the skin.
Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm and Cloths
Last but not least for skincare is the famous cleansing balm from Emma Hardie. I have wanted to try this product for YEARS so I’m glad to finally give it a go. It is a much loved cleansing balm that contains moringa seed extract, wild sea fennel and vitamins that balances, hydrates and purifies the skin. It’s a gorgeous balm cleanser although not the best to store and use while it is currently 30 degrees Celsius today in the UK. However, I’m loving it so far!
This Works Pillow Mist
The penultimate item is already a favourite of mine, it’s the This Work Pillow Mist. The mist contains a blend of lavender, vetivert and camomile to help you relax and drift off to sleep. As I’ve mentioned I had laser eye surgery recently and the recovery has been much longer than I thought it would be so I haven’t been sleeping very well; therefore this mist will come in very handy.
Finally, there’s one makeup item within the box and it’s from Illamasqua. I used to adore their products but I haven’t tried any for a while. The blush is in the shade ‘zygomatic’ and it’s a cream blusher. I adore the shade and the texture makes for a very fresh looking blush. Although I don’t really wear blush and this one isn’t ideal for the current boiling hot temperatures; however it is such a pretty shade that I think most people will love!
