I have wanted to try the LookFantastic box for ages as the boxes look amazing every month! I am a bit of a beauty addict so a beauty subscription box is heaven to me. I also think they would be fantastic Christmas gifts!
The October box contains six products, two of which are full size and the other four at large sample sizes; the brands are all ones I’ve heard of before such as Mio, Murad, Oskia, Polaar, Alterna and Laura Geller. This is my first LookFantastic and I’m really impressed with the brands included, some of which are quite expensive brands and the range of products is great too!
The products range from a pampering bath soak, lip balm and facial mask to a pre-shampoo treatment, facial peel and lip liner – the latter is a little usual for a pamper box in my opinion.
The first product I noticed and was so excited about was the Mio Liquid Yoga Bath Soak which is a large 53ml size. I actually have the full size of this bath soak and I adore it. I used it mainly when I first started driving lessons and for some reason it made my legs ache so much and this bath soak really helped me relax, de-stress and helped with muscle ache so much!
Another product I was excited to test out was the Polaar Lip Balm and if you didn’t know, I’m a bit addicted to lip balm. I use it constantly and I love to try new ones. This balm contains arctic berries which were used by the women of Lapland; it feels so rich and nourishing! It’s perfect for my very dry lips particularly during this time of the year.
One thing I love about this box is that they’ve included some fantastic and luxe brand such as Oskia. The Oskia Renaissance Mask was included in the October box. I haven’t tried the mask yet but it smells incredible, to me it smells like roses which I love.
The final skincare item in the box was the Murad Intensive C Radiance Peel which again I haven’t had time to use yet but I have tried a few products from Murad already and I’ve loved them. The radiance peel claims to brighten, smooth and hydrate to make the skin radiant and glowing in one step.
The only makeup product is the Laura Geller Pout Perfection Waterproof Lip Liner in the shade Claret which is a festive appropriate rosy red shade with pink undertones. The shade is perfect for everyday, it applies smoothly and the pigmentation is fantastic! It does transfer slightly but the longevity is great!
Last but not least, the Caviar Moisture Intense Oil Creme Pre-Shampoo Treatment which is the longest product name ever! It’s for dry and coarse hair which mostly describes my hair, especially during the colder months. It is quick and easy to use so it’s perfect if you want a quick pamper product if you’re short on time. It leaves my hair smooth and tangle free.
