Japan Candy July 2015 review

The Japan Candy Box is shipped directly from Japan. The shipping is free which is just amazing knowing the fact that it travels over 9000 km probably by plane!

The folks at Japan Candy sent us a box from July. We have received our box in September. It takes up to a month to receive the box.

The box is white – a little too classic for my taste. A Japan Candy Box sticker has been stuck on the box.  Now the box is not very important compared to what it contains but it is always nice to receive your surprises packaged in a nice looking colorful box :)

Nevertheless, lets move on. So once the box opened, I found inside a thank you note. Very thoughtful. I love it when they put these extra special notes.

The box doesn’t contain any filling material and I like the fact that it is more sustainable. Anyways candy doesn’t really need to be protected that much. They are pretty hardy.

Here is the content of the box:

• Glico Collon Biscuit Rolls – small wafer roll tubes with a delicious and soft creamy filling, crunchy texture and delicious Matcha green tea flavored filling.
• Horadekita Popsicle DIY Candy Kit – this is a do it yourself kit to create popsicles from candy material. Delicious.
• Bourbon Petit Chocolate Chip Cookies – bite sized chocolate cookies by Bourbon which are full of chocolate chips
• Meiji Watapachi Popping Candy Floss – grappe flavoured candy that pops in tour mouth; strange sensation :)
• Pokemon Pineapple Chewy Candy
• Strawberry Pocky Biscuit Sticks – biscuit straws covered with a strawberry flavoured coating
• Meiji Petit Bubble Gum
• Sakuma LINE Drops – hard sweets, contains three.
• Maruta Soda Bottle Fruit Candy – candy with cola taste.
• Chameleon Candy – hard round candy balls.

Overall, plenty of candy to enjoy with friends and family. If you like candy and like discovering new things this box is for you.
