HomeQuarters – June 2020

HomeQuarters is a new subscription box that I’ve recently been introduced to and it’s been ‘designed to bring joy to those working at home’. With lockdown forcing many of us to work from home, I think it’s great to come across a box that can help make the experience much more enjoyable!

Each box has a theme and contains six hand-picked products to improve your home working experience. These include new teas and/or coffees, healthy snacks, indulgent treats, funky stationery and some surprises. A mini workout is also included to help restore order to your body after sitting down for hours at a time which again, is a brilliant idea!

As I’m currently working from home, I was really excited to review the box and couldn’t wait to share the contents with you all today.

The box arrived quickly, but there was no theme or information inside. However, the products are self-explanatory so here are the goodies!

Sweet Highlighters

I love stationery products and you can never have too many pens or highlighters IMO! This super cute set of highlighters are modelled like old-school striped candy wrappers and smell delicious!

Animal Postcards

Next, I found two postcards, each depicting a cute animal with a positive slogan. These would be lovely to send to a friend or a family member :)

Tips & Home Workout

Underneath the animal prints, I found two more pieces of paper. One was titled Kindness and the other is detailed Home Workout that you can do in five minutes which will certainly come in handy as a reminder to take a break.

Beanies Instant Coffee in Cookie Dough

Ah, coffee, every home office needs some! I’m a big fan of Beanies Instant Coffee and I love this delicious Cookie Dough flavour.

Well & Truly Crunchy Corn Snacks in Smokey Paprika flavour

Snacks are always appreciated when you’re working long hours and this bag from Well & Truly definitely went down a treat when I have an afternoon slump. The Smokey Paprika flavour has a nice kick to it!

Plant Pops in Smoked Chilli

For another savoury snack, these Plant Pops are an interesting healthier alternative to regular crisps at only 98 calories per bag. They’re also vegan and gluten-free, plus I loved the Smoked Chilli flavour – can you tell that I like spicy things?!

Lo Bros Organic Kombucha in Raspberry & Lemon

For a refreshing and uplifting drink to enjoy at your desk, you can’t beat a can of healthy kombucha. This one from Lo Bros is organic, naturally low in sugar and has a tangy Raspberry & Lemon flavour which is very revitalising after a long day.

Vive Natural Protein Snack Bar in Salted Caramel

The last product in this month’s HomeQuarters box is a Natural Protein Snack Bar from Vive. In a moreish and sweet Salted Caramel flavour, there’s a generous layer of Belgian Dark Chocolate coating the bar and each serving provides 10g of plant-based protein to keep you going.

Our score: 9.8/ 10

I'm really impressed with my first HomeQuarters box and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is working from home as a brilliant box to cheer themselves up :)
