Greenecobox – January 2020: Bee Happy Box

Greenecobox‘s Bee Happy Box is a monthly subscription box for those who want to discover original and artisanal products which are expertly sourced and carefully chosen from small independent businesses across Europe.

Greenecobox also donates to two different campaigns/charities on your behalf with the purchase of each box. This month’s chosen projects are OneTreePlanted (one tree will be planted for you on behalf of the Trees For The Orca Project) and you’ll receive a certificate of proof in your box, and €1 will be donated to Koalas In Care Inc to help support the koala rescue teams who are dealing with the devastating fires that have happened recently in Australia.

Curious to find out more? Here’s this month’s Bee Happy Box:-

Knusperreich Organic Cookies

A special selection of handmade German cookies with a difference. Not only are they made from natural and organic ingredients, but inside this large tub, you’ll find six different flavours of cookies – a new one to enjoy from every layer inside. There are delicious chocolate and nut flavours, as well and chocolate and fruits – yum!

Bio Orto Sugo Ortolana Sauce

Made in the cold mountains of Abruzzo, Italy, this local Ortolona Sauce is composed of onions, carrots, celery and garlic, all chopped together in extra virgin olive oil and a mixed pulp of tomato puree and three handpicked organic seasonal vegetables (courgette, aubergine and peppers. It’s seasoned with fresh herbs such as parsley and oregano and makes a seriously tasty sauce to stir through pasta.

L’EPICERIE de Provence Raspberry Syrup

From France, I found an artisan fruit syrup which is handmade by L’EPICERIE de Provence. Prepared with carefully selected raspberries, this syrup can be used in countless ways. Try it as a topping drizzled over porridge, ice cream, fruit salads and pancakes, or use it to liven up a cocktail.

The Soap Shop Organic Grapefruit, Lemon & Calendula Soap

Closer to home from England, there’s a plastic-free handmade soap from The Soap Shop. As soon as I opened the box, I instantly fell in love with the scent because I love Grapefruit and Lemon! There’s also Calendula too, so this is a great soap to use due to these organic ingredients having natural antiseptic and antibacterial properties.

Noted England Blooming Lucky Cat

How cute is this mini cat?! Resembling a Lucky Cat from Japan, this holiday treat is a little gift to bring good fortune and happiness for the year ahead. Inside this paper cat, you’ll find some seeds that you can plant and an O-Mikuji message which is traditionally used during offerings made to a shrine or temple.

As extras this month, Greenecobox have included a box of French artisan biscuits and some English Teashop Organic teabags – yum!

Our score: 9.8/ 10
