What we think

Add up the stated values and you get £104.94, which matches the “worth over £104” claim. That is just over four times the £25 price, and the Vieve lip mousse and the mascara alone cover £44. Subscribers pay £20, which makes the maths even better.

The catch is shades. The mascara is black, the lip mousse is Miss Figgy and the face trio is Sunset Swim, a warm, peachy set: lovely on some skin tones, less so on others. The Valentino perfume is a 10ml spray rather than a full bottle, and the eye mask is a single use. As a stocking filler or a gift for someone whose colouring you know, it is excellent value. As a blind purchase for yourself, check the shades first.

The GLOSSYBOX Grooming Kit: eight products for £40

Released alongside the cracker, the GLOSSYBOX Grooming Kit costs £40 (£35 for subscribers) and comes in a navy grooming bag. GLOSSYBOX says it is worth over £156. Inside:
