First Wonder Box has been created by the same people who publish First News, a newspaper for children. This box is aimed at kids age 4 – 8, and includes games, crafts, toys, and activities.

The brightly coloured and decorated box comes right through the mailbox, and tells you what’s in store inside!

The box itself is always part of the activities, whether a board game or for an activity of some kind. Opening it out, you can get an idea of what it will be used for this month’s, a game using cutouts of body parts representing the senses.

There’s a sheet of stickers to complete some of the activities in the Activity Book.

As well as the collectible cards and stickers, there are little bonus toys as well, all of which have a sensory purpose. Glow glasses, a scented pencil, and silly putty.

The activity book is always incredibly impressive.

I am always impressed with how much is available in First Wonder Box. From crafts to play to learning, there is always a great deal packed into this box, and at only £7.95 per month it’s incredible value.

4 – 8 is quite a varied age group, so how much parental involvement will vary with the child, but everything is interesting and engaging, and there is a great deal of information given in a manner which is easy for even young children to understand.

All the themes are entirely neutral, and children will find all kinds of things to grab their attention. The activity books are good enough quality to be kept and used for later reference, and the little toys are a lovely bonus.
