Degustabox – January 2023: Breakfast & Brunch

This month’s Degustabox is themed ‘Breakfast & Brunch’ and is packed with a range of food and drink products that the whole family will enjoy trying out.

As always, there’s quite a lot in here, so let’s jump straight to it!

Fitbakes Millionaire Caramel Cake (RRP £1.50)

At just 98 calories, Fitbakes offers a range of guilt-free treats that are made with 94% less sugar and only contain natural sweeteners and flavourings. This Millionaire Caramel Cake combines a fluffy vanilla sponge base with a layer of sugar-free caramel and a thick coating of delicious milk chocolate.

Human Nature Hot Jalapeño Lentil Sticks (RRP £2)

I love the bright and colourful packaging of these Human Nature Hot Jalapeño Lentil Sticks. Made with natural ingredients, each pack is suitable for vegans and contains 13g of plant-based protein. This flavour certainly has some fire to it!

Dorset Cereals Simply Nutty Muesli (RRP £3.39)

No breakfast box would be complete without a box of cereal of some kind and I was pleased to find this tasty Simply Nutty Muesli from Dorset Cereals. High in fibre and vegan-friendly, it’s a delicious healthy bowl of goodness to start your day with.

Hellmann’s Vegan Mayo (RRP £2.60)

Smooth and creamy, it’s hard to believe that Hellmann’s has managed to create a vegan plant-based mayo that tastes identical to the regular stuff. But they have! And it tastes amazing!

LEON Mango’ed Ketchup (RRP £2.65)

Enjoy a fruity and tangy ketchup on your breakfast muffins thanks to this spicy creation from LEON. With Cumin, Mango and Sun-Dried Tomatoes, this ketchup delivers lots of flavour. No wonder it’s the featured product of the month!

Ryvita Fruit Crunch (RRP £1.99)

Ryvita can be a little bland but this new flavour called Fruit Crunch is a moreish sweet treat that works really well with sliced up fresh fruit, chocolate spreads, nut butters and much more. Ideal for those who fancy something sweet for breakfast.

Knorr Chicken Stock Pot (RRP £1.65)

I found this product to be a little strange, given the theme of the box, but chicken stock pots are great to have in the cupboard so I’m certainly not complaining. These ones from Knorr are slowly simmered with Garlic & Parsley so they have more of a homemade taste and are gluten-free.

Hip Chocolate Salted Caramel (RRP £1.50)

A tasty, creamy, high-quality chocolate that also happens to be 100% plant-based and vegan-friendly. I love the subtle Salted Caramel flavour.

MOMA Oat Barista Drink (RRP £1.90)

MOMA’s carefully crafted Oat Barista Drink is dairy-free and foamable, making it perfect for those morning cups of coffee and for those who enjoy creating latte art. Fortified with a range of vitamins such as D3 and B12, it’s made from wholegrain oats.

MOMO Jumbo Oat Porridge Almond Butter & Salted Caramel (RRP £1.15)

Looking for a tasty and healthy breakfast on the go? Try MOMO Jumbo Oat Porridge in a yummy Almond Butter & Salted Caramel flavour. Ready in just 3-5 minutes, you simply need to add hot water and give it a good stir.

Swizzels Sweets (RRP £1.90)

I wouldn’t recommend sweets for breakfast but hey, this bag of Swizzels features a whole bunch of traditional old-school family favourites, so why not treat yourself?!
