Craftiosity has revealed Festive Embossing for its December craft kit, with gold and copper foil among 9 announced materials. The subscription costs £24.95 a month with digital instructions, or £25.95 with printed instructions, including UK delivery. Orders close at midnight on Monday 30 November, according to the brand’s December announcement.
The official December sneak peek is a materials and moodboard reveal, not a photograph of the completed project. Craftiosity is keeping the finished design under wraps. You can expect the announced metallic palette and tools, but not a particular finished ornament or shape that the brand has not shown.

Copper, gold and a new technique for December
This month’s technique is metal embossing: pressing a design into thin metal foil to make a raised pattern. The brand has paired the metallic sheets with a bamboo hoop, white wooden beads and gold-plated wire. That gives you a clearer idea of the materials than of the final object, which is precisely the distinction worth keeping in mind before you order.
The moodboard is inspiration, not a promise that every decoration pictured is supplied or is the project you will make. Likewise, the closed-box photographs show Craftiosity’s general packaging and Christmas presentation, not the unrevealed December design or a promise of extra wrapping accessories.
What is announced for the December Festive Embossing box?
The official list names these 9 materials and tools:
- Gold-coloured metal foil. One of the two announced metallic finishes.
- Copper-coloured metal foil. The second finish in the December palette.
- A metal embossing tool. For working the surface of the foil.
- An A5 metal embossing workboard. The listed working surface.
- A natural bamboo hoop. Included in the project materials.
- White wooden beads. Part of the planned decorative details.
- Gold-plated jewellery wire. Listed alongside the hoop and beads.
- A design template. The finished design itself has not yet been revealed.
- UHU glue. Included for assembly.

Our take: buy for the technique, not an imagined finished decoration
We like the specific materials list and the chance to try something beyond another paper or yarn project. Gold and copper can work well in a Christmas setting, while a template should give beginners a starting point. We have not made this kit, so this is a view on the announced contents, not a hands-on verdict about how easy the finished project will be.
The obvious catch is that the design is still a surprise. If you need a particular decoration for a particular spot, wait for the full reveal rather than treating the moodboard as a finished-product catalogue. If trying a new technique is the attraction, the tools and materials give you something firmer to judge.

Price and subscription: the essentials
On 8 November 2026, the digital-instructions subscription is £24.95 a month and the printed-instructions subscription is £25.95 a month. Both include UK delivery. The lower headline price is therefore the digital option, not an introductory price for the printed plan. At unchanged rates, 12 paid monthly deliveries would total £299.40 digitally or £311.40 with printed instructions.
The official FAQ says you pay when joining, with renewals on the 21st. Your first box is normally posted around the 7th of the following month, so a November sign-up is for a first dispatch around 7 December, with arrival expected about three working days later, not guaranteed on a particular date. The FAQ also warns that some first-week sign-ups can have two payments before the first kit arrives, so read the displayed next-payment date carefully.
There is no fixed-term contract, and you can cancel at any time. Cancel before the next renewal if you do not want another payment; cancelling does not turn an already-paid kit into an unpaid order. The FAQ says paid-for kits will still be sent. Skip requests have their own account or email instructions, so do not assume that simply leaving a box unopened pauses the subscription.
Craftiosity says its kits can contain sharp tools and are sold to adults aged 18 and over. This is an adult craft project, not an automatically child-suitable Christmas activity.
