Another lovely Craftiosity kit I received recently is this adorable needle felted robin kit which is also perfect for this time of the year. I love wreaths and I’d like to make more so this mini wreath is ideal for the autumn/winter months. I’m more than a little late with this review but I’m happy with the end result. If you are interested in this kit then why not look at purchasing a monthly subscription as a gift for yourself or someone else this christmas.
The kit comes with everything you need including the felting needles which can be very sharp so you have to be very careful with them. I have tried needle felting quite a few times now and I still end up accidentally stabbing myself! Even though I do have experience with needle felting, the instructions are easy to follow and with a little time and practice, it’s easy to make.
I love the design of this kit although I did change it a little, with the robins sitting on the wreath with pinecones disguising (kind of) the wire. Needle felting is such an easy and rewarding process as you can see the shape forming and it is easy to add more and manipulate the product to look how you want it to. Overall, I’m very happy with this kit and the end result!
