Another month, another fantastic Craftiosity box! For the month of June the project is to decorate adorable wooden seaside cottages! The Craftiosity boxes comes with almost everything you need to create your project, apart from essentials such as a ruler, paper and scissors, for example. The boxes are always very well presented and put together so I think they’d make wonderful gifts!
The project for June is perfect for this time of the year as summer is here and many people travel to the seaside for a day or weekend away but for those who can’t, this little project can bring the seaside to you. The box includes everything you need, from paint and brushes to the wooden houses and thread.
I personally like the boxes that involve projects such as this rather than sewing related boxes so this one was perfect for me. The project didn’t take long at all and as with all of the others I’ve tried, it was relaxing and enjoyable. I can be quite an anxious person but I find that crafts and making something (as well as reading) help so much.
I love the idea of this product and I think the paint colour is perfect! I also like that you can create any design on the houses so naturally I had to add some very simple flowers and botanical designs. I’m happy with the way mine came out although if I’m being completely honest, I would have preferred the thread colour to match the paint so my poor knot typing skills are quite as visible. Overall, it was definitely an enjoyable, quick and easy project that was ideal for a summer evening.
