Every subscription box I’ve received so far this year as been fantastic and this one is no exception! I have loved all of the Craftiosity boxes I’ve received over the past few months, especially the previous box which involved making a gorgeous nordic winter wreath. The project for the January Craftiosity box is to make two lavender and rosemary candles which is amazing!
I have actually tried candle making previously and I loved it so this project is perfect for me. Lavender is one of my favourite scents so I was very excited for this months project! I find all of these projects to be so relaxing and calming – also I love the mystery each month!
The kits contain everything you need to create your project, the instructions are very easy to follow and each project is so well put together. The craft kit projects are fairly quick, easy and they are always so relaxing to create. I think they would be fantastic gifts for so many people!
I was able to make both of the candles in one evening! It was a very quick project, the instructions were very easy to follow and I’m happy with the end result. In terms of the process of making the candles, I did have to melt the wax longer than the instructions suggested but apart from that it is very quick and enjoyable. Also while making the candles, the heavenly lavender and rosemary scent filled the room which was an added positive.
The end result is fantastic, the candles smell amazing and I’m so happy with them! After making the candles they need to rest for one week before burning but now I can burn them. The scent is fairly subtle and I do wish that it was stronger but they are still lovely! I now want to make more candles!
