Birchbox – August 2019: Summer Lovin’

It’s been a while since I last reviewed a Birchbox on here, so I was pleased to receive their latest box recently to check out and share with you all. For those who are new to Birchbox, they are a popular monthly beauty subscription box which sends you around 5 products every month from a range of categories such as skincare, makeup, haircare, body care and sometimes lifestyle products too.

This month’s Birchbox is themed Summer Lovin’ and comes presented in a really cute Morrocan-style box that features a pull-out drawer so that you can stack and re-use them at home.

Absolute New York Glow Balm in Rose Gold (RRP £3.94)

This unique and buildable creamy stick highlighter balm adds hydration and illuminating qualities to the skin for that perfect natural radiant glow that we all covet. Glide it onto the highpoints of your face such as the tops of the cheekbones, down the nose, above the cupid’s bow etc, to instantly draw attention and light.

Nuxe Exfoliating and Unifying Mask (travel size, full size retails for £19.50)

Next up, I found a travel size pot of Nuxe Exfoliating and Unifying Mask – a detoxifying and skin-softening treatment that takes only two minutes to get to work. It purifies and soothes the skin, leaving it clearer and softer than it was before.

Balance Me Hyaluronic Plumping Mist (travel size, full size retails for £18)

I’m also loving this Hyaluronic Plumping Mist from the natural British beauty brand, Balance Me. Featuring a superfine mist and skin-plumping Hyaluronic Acid, it provides an instant shot of hydration and can be used as part of your daily skincare routine, or as needed throughout the day.

Anatomicals The Great British Flake Off Summer Strawberry Body Scrub (RRP £1.50)

Scrub up in the bath or shower with this deliciously Strawberry scented Body Scrub from Anatomicals. Effective yet gentle, it contains Sweet Almond Oil, Glycerin and Apricot Seed Powder to buff and exfoliate away dull dead skin cells for super soft skin.

Love Beauty And Planet Tropical Hydration Coconut Oil and Ylang Ylang Shower Gel (RRP £2.50)

The last product in this month’s Birchbox is perhaps my favourite – this Love Beauty And Planet Tropical Hydration Coconut Oil and Ylang Ylang Shower Gel smells amazing! It’s also cruelty-free, vegan-friendly and comes packaged in 100% recycled plastic bottles.
