Bettybox is a monthly subscription box that’s aimed at young girls and teens who have started their periods. It’s a fun way to get all of your period essentials delivered straight to your door, and bettybox also include a whole bunch of exciting products such as teen-friendly makeup, stationery, sweet treats, skincare and more.
The bettybox is really bright and colourful to represent its young customers, and inside, you’ll find a range of smaller boxes. Two have ‘For Later’ on the front of them and these are your main period essentials, plus there’s a funky drawstring bag with some essentials in too, so that you can pop it straight into your rucksack or handbag to take with you to school.
When you subscribe to bettybox, you can pick which brands of period essentials that you’d like (they stock all the big brands like Always, Bodyform and Tampax), and you can also decide what format you want such as tampons, pads or a selection of both. As you can see above, this is the pads option which contains panty liners, night pads and regular pads.
In the ‘For You’ box, you’ll find all the fun stuff! This month’s box has all of the following products in it:-
Laritzy Lip Pencil (full size, RRP £18)
Worth £18 on its own, there’s a luxury eye or lip pencil from Laritzy in your bettybox this month. I received the Lip Pencil in a gorgeous shade called Jewel which is a deep pinky red. These feel very creamy when you apply them and this shade would be perfect to match up with any darker lipsticks that you want to rock this Autumn.
Stabilo Neon Highlighter (RRP £4.13 for a pack of 4)
How cool are these new tube highlighters from Stabilo? You’ll receive either neon pink, yellow or orange in your box, and of course, I was thrilled to get the pink one as it’s my favourite colour! These are available to buy in a pack of 4, so make sure you ask your parents nicely to get you a new set ready for school in September!
MUA Luxe Whipped Velvet Blush in Hedonic (full size, RRP £3)
MUA are a super affordable makeup brand and this Whipped Velvet Blush is from their popular Luxe range which has lots of on-trend products. This blush has a lovely texture and is really easy to blend onto your cheeks with just your fingers. It adds a soft, lightweight pop of colour without being OTT.
Oryza Dewy Glow Skin Beauty Balm (full size, RRP £11.95)
Bettybox are really spoiling their subscribers with all these full-size products this month! This one’s from Oryza and it’s their multi-purpose Dewy Glow Skin Beauty Balm. You can use this as a shiny highlighter on your cheeks, or as a glossy balm on your lips. You can even try a little on dry cuticles to moisturise them as the formula has Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil in it.
Vitamasques Kiwi Yoghurt Mask (RRP £2.99)
Treat your skin to a softening and revitalising face mask from Vitamasques. This face mask uses a mix of Kiwi Fruit extracts and Yoghurt to feed your skin with antioxidants and vitamins, whilst at the same time getting rid of dead skin cells and refining your pores so that they look smaller. The result is brighter, clearer, softer skin – win, win!
Joe & Seph’s Salted Caramel Popcorn (sample bag)
Enjoy the sweet and salty combination of Salted Caramel from Joe & Seph’s delicious gourmet popcorn. Who doesn’t love popcorn?! This bag was so tasty!
