WowBoxMe – June 2018

Enjoy trying out new food and drink products? Every month, WowBoxMe will send you a specially curated surprise box featuring some of the latest innovations from the food and drinks industry, and best of all, the overall value of the contents will be much higher than the low subscription fee, so it’s a bargain that the whole family can enjoy.

WowBoxMe offers two types of subscription box; an alcoholic box which costs £9.99 and a non-alcoholic box that’s £6.99 per month (plus postage fees).

I was recently sent their June non-alcoholic box a couple of days ago and here’s everything that I found inside:-

Walkers Stax Sour Cream & Onion flavour

Football mania is everywhere this Summer, so I wasn’t surprised to see something World Cup-related in the box. These are called Stax and they’re basically the Walkers version of Pringles. Very moreish and perfect to share with your friends and family whilst you’re watching the big game.

Budweiser Russia World Cup 2018 Pint Glass

Another World Cup product is this Budweiser branded Pint Glass to mark the occasion of the Russia World Cup 2018. I thought it was a little strange to find this in the non-alcoholic box, but we can always do with another glass in my household so I’m happy to have it!

Vit Hit Perform Mango & Passionfruit Drink

Vit Hit is a popular healthy soft drink which features a blend of Matcha Tea, Water, Mango and Passionfruit Juice and it also has some added vitamins in it. At only 25 calories per bottle, it’s a lovely refreshing drink that’s a good accompaniment with your lunch.

Carabao Energy Drink Mandarin Orange flavour

If you’re after a drink with more of a kick though, this can of Carabao will definitely sort you out! It’s a sparkling orange energy drink that contains Taurine and Caffeine to give you a boost when you need it the most. I always prefer fruit flavoured energy drinks and this one’s really nice.

Maryland Cookie Bites Choc Chip

New from Maryland, there’s a generous share size bag of their latest Cookie Bites Choc Chip which are small bite-size cookies that are coated in a thick layer of chocolate. Another yummy snack to share with friends and family, but I don’t think these will last very long because they’re very addictive!

Hula Hoops Flavarings in Tangy Cheese flavour

Another new product, this time from Hula Hoops, these are Flavarings and they’re pretty big! Imagine massive hula hoops but with a puffed up, lighter crisp texture, and you’ll get an idea of what these are. Great share bag size to nibble on when you’re watching the football.

Ritter Sport Honey Salt Almonds flavour

Ritter Sport is one of my favourite brands of chocolate and I was thrilled to see this bar in this month’s box. This is their Honey Salt Almonds flavour which I’ve had before and absolutely love. It features a thick slab of chocolate with lots of roasted almonds studded throughout, and there’s a delicious hint of honey and salt to add even more flavour to the mix.

Maltesers Buttons

Lastly, I found two bags of the brand new Maltesers Buttons which I’ve seen so many adverts for recently. These button-sized pieces of flat maltesers are just as moreish as I imagined them to be, and they’re a perfect weekend treat when you have a chocolate craving.

Our score: 9.4/ 10

This month's WowBoxMe is a clear improvement on the last box that I received from them and features a much better variety of new products from a range of popular household names. Ideal for families and students!
