The Vegan Kind – July 2020

The Vegan Kind is one of the UK’s most popular vegan food and drink subscription boxes, and when you see what they have included in this month’s box, it’s not hard to see why! As always, everything in the box is 100% vegan and cruelty-free of course and it’s a fun way to discover something new!

Here’s what’s inside the July box:-

Perfectly Broken Chocolate Pretzels (RRP £2.99)

Marrying together the best of sweet and salty, these Perfectly Broken Chocolate Pretzel thins are the most moreish snack ever! With delicious vegan Belgian dark chocolate and salty, biscuity pieces of pretzels, this is a bag that you’ll find hard to share….

Mezete Hummus with Herbs Dip & Go (RRP £1.50)

With many of us returning to work this month, handy snacks like this Dip & Go pack from Mezete make a brilliant lunch snack option. It features a pot of creamy scrumptious hummus with herbs and a side of breadsticks for all your dipping needs – everything is made from 100% natural ingredients and no preservatives too, oh and it’s gluten-free as well!

Le Joli Scottish Raspberry Rhubarb Sparkling Drink (RRP £1)

For a refreshing drink on a hot day, you can’t beat these cans from Le Joli and I love this Scottish Raspberry Rhubarb flavour. Made with no artificial ingredients, sweeteners or sugars, it’s basically fruity infused sparkling water which is very thirst-quenching!

Blendi Snacks Roasted Broad Beans & Green Peas in Fiery Garlic flavour (RRP £1.70)

Have a nut allergy? Blendi’s range of roasted snacks are the perfect alternative to nuts and feature seasoned broad beans and green peas in a tasty savoury flavour. If you’re a fan of garlic and spices, you’ll love these.

Swizzels Puds Chew Bars (RRP £1.29)

Think vegans miss out on sweets? Think again! I was pleased to see this large sharing size bag of Swizzles Puds Chew Bars as these minibars are great for when you have a sugar craving. Here we have a selection of some of Britain’s favourite desserts in a chew bar format and they are so yummy.

Misfits Plant-Based Chocolate Hazelnut Protein Bar (RRP £2)

Whether you’re looking forward to returning to the gym or are continuing with your home workouts, make sure you have a stash of these protein bars from Misfits with you. They tick a lot of boxes and are made from 100% natural ingredients. Each bar contains 15g of plant-based protein, are high in fibre and low in sugar.

Properchips Sour Cream & Chive Lentil Chips (RRP £1)

Looking for a healthier alternative to regular crisps? Check out Properchips who use high quality, natural ingredients to create lentil chips that are 30% less fat than regular crisps and are only 93 calories per pack. They’re delicious!

Beauty Kitchen Refillable Organic Vegan Hand Sanitiser (RRP £6.25)

The last product in this month’s The Vegan Kind box is a super useful Organic Vegan Hand Sanitiser from Beauty Kitchen who are paving the way when it comes to sustainable products. This hand sanitiser helps to be part of the solution to the millions of plastic bottles of hand sanitisers that are currently being thrown away every day, and instead, Beauty Kitchen offers a return, refill and repeat scheme which is amazing.

This month’s recipe card is for a delicious-sounding White Chocolate & Raspberry Cheesecake – yum!
