The Vegan Kind Beauty Box – October 2018: The Monami Frost Edition

You may have read the regular monthly reviews of The Vegan Kind’s Lifestyle Box on here, but did you know that they also do a beauty box? Released bi-monthly to subscribers, The Vegan Kind Beauty Box is a fantastic box that contains a selection of cruelty-free makeup, skincare and haircare, and of course, everything is suitable for vegans to use!

The latest beauty box is a special collaboration with the popular vegan influencer, Monami Frost, and she’s chosen some of her favourite vegan beauty products for you all to try out. Here’s what I found inside:-

Siskyn Lemon & Sea Buckthorn Brightening Night Oil (RRP £38)

Worth a whopping £38 on its own, this award-winning, full-size bottle of Night Oil from Siskyn has been expertly blended to help boost the skin’s health and vitality. It’s especially beneficial for dry skins and anyone who wants to brighten up a dull complexion, which sounds perfect for the Winter months ahead! I’m very excited to try this as I’ve used a few oils from Siskyn in the past, so I have a feeling this is going to be a winner for me.

MEMI Expert Liner (RRP £10)

Monami Frost LOVES her jet black eyeliner, so I was expecting to see one in the box when I heard about this collaboration. This one is a bestseller from MEMI and delivers a carbon black, transfer proof, smudge proof and water resistant look to your cat eye flicks. It has an ultra fine nib which makes it easy to work with and it’s a brilliant staple for anyone’s makeup bag.

Nabla Creme Eyeshadow in Uptopia (RRP £11)

You’ll find one of two shades of this Creme Eyeshadow from Nabla in your box and I love the shade that I received which is called Utopia. This long-lasting, waterproof cream eyeshadow is richly pigmented but you can wear it as a sheer wash of colour if desired thanks to its buildable formula. Absolutely gorgeous!

Umberto Gianni Miracle Worker Serum (RRP £8)

Transform your hair from dull to dazzling with Umberto Gianni’s Miracle Worker Serum. Designed to banish frizz and flyaways, it contains hydrating Argan Oil to repair your hair and also offers heat protection so that your tresses get less damage from your styling tools.

Natura Avocado Sheet Mask (RRP £4.95)

Combining two of my loves (sheet masks and avocados!), Natura are a natural beauty brand and their Avocado Sheet Mask is a real treat for the skin. It’s suitable for all skin types, including sensitive, and contains real Avocado Oil to deeply hydrate thirsty skin and smooth out any fine lines and wrinkles. Perfect for a Sunday pamper treat!

Unicorn Cosmetics Dragon Faux Silk Vegan False Lashes (RRP £9.99)

The last product is a stunning pack of Faux Silk False Lashes from Unicorn Cosmetics – how beautiful are these?! They have a full-on flutter and will be ideal to show off for all of those Christmas parties coming up!

Our score: 10.0/ 10

I really enjoyed this collaboration box with Monami Frost and would love to see The Vegan Kind work with more influencers on future beauty boxes!
