It’s my cats favourite time of the month when the My Purrfect Gift Box arrives. As soon as they see that purple box, you’d think I’d rattled a bag of treats. This one was especially appreciated because I had to give two of them a bath, and they were not happy- as you can expect! But this box kept us on good terms.
As always, the box comes with a card telling you what comes in it and where the items came from. This is really useful in supporting smaller businesses, and buying more if you/your cat find something that’s great!
Starting with these hand-painted cat face fairy lights that are. so. cute. There are twenty of these adorable little battery powered faces and while they’re not to my decor tastes, I have an idea of who I’m going to pass them on to and she is going to love them.
On the other had, this signed cat print is definitely going to find a place around the house. I love these kinds of designs. I think I’ll frame it and put it by the cat beds, and I’ll definitely be buying more from the artist, Sarah!
The cat on the moon was mirrored in the moon bangle bracelet too. While the bangle itself is metal, the C is a metallic covered plastic which doesn’t quite reflect the retail price of £14.99 for me. I like it, I’ll wear it, and green is my favourite colour, but I wouldn’t pay that much for it.
Is it weird I’ve never had a decal before? Maybe. I’m pretty sure this is going to end up on the back widow of my car because you’ve gotta show that cat support anytime you can. Their tails make a love heart and that’s just adorable.
And onto the important bits: the cat gifts! First was a packet of Little Hearts Treats by Vet’s Kitchen. My cats aren’t generally that picky when it comes to treats, shake a packet and they’ll come running, but these treats have probiotics, natural ingredients and no artificial additives for if your cat is a gourmet. I ended up with a very slobbery hand, and a few excited nips whenever I offered these out.
And another pair of toys! A catnip filled wool heart and this fun little bird with a feathery tail. My cats love when this box gets delivered as they get new toys. The other day I found a collection of them all hidden away in a pile while I was cleaning- obviously one of the cats wants to keep them all to themselves.
I’m afraid I’m going to end on quite a confusing note as this metal cat ears headband wasn’t mentioned on the contents card and it’s also missing a few of the gemstones. Did this get packed as a mistake? Was it just left off the contents by accident? Who knows. It could be quite cute as long as nobody is looking too close.
