Pink Parcel – June 2018: Processions

Pink Parcel are a brilliant subscription box for anyone who is female and has periods. Why? Not only do they send you all of your period essentials direct to your door every month (taking the hassle out of that last minute trip to the shops!), but they also include a specially curated edit of premium beauty, skincare and lifestyle products, so you can thoroughly pamper and treat yourself.

This month’s box is a special collaboration with Processions, a campaign which is celebrating 100 years since women won the right to vote. To mark the occasion, your box will feature this supportive wraparound, and you’ll find that all of the beauty and lifestyle products this month have been created by female founders. Girl power at its finest!

First up though, let me take a moment to focus on the period essentials that are included.  When you sign up to Pink Parcel, you can choose which essentials that you’d like from a range of well-known brands, and the format that you’d like them in (pads, tampons, a mix of both etc). You can also select the date that you want the box to arrive by to make sure that you’re fully stocked for when your period is due. Pink Parcel includes a generous amount of period essentials so that you have more than enough for the month, and these are packaged in handy boxes and a drawstring cotton bag for your convenience.

I was really looking forward to checking out all of the other products this month as I love the Processions theme, and it didn’t disappoint!

Bandzee Suffragettes Edition (RRP £6.95)

These special edition hairbands from Bandzee celebrate the centenary of the women’s right to vote and feature the iconic suffragette shades of green, white and violet, alongside empowering slogans and symbols. How awesome are these?! You can also wear them on your wrists to show your support.

Vitamasques Marine Gold Mask (RRP £5.99)

Next up, I found a sheet mask from the Korean beauty brand, Vitamasques. There are a range of different Gold Masks available this month, and I received the Marine Gold Mask which is infused with real gold dust and features Marine Collagen to plump up and brighten the complexion. I used this last night and it did a fantastic job – my skin felt and looked amazing afterwards!

The Beauty Crop GRLPWR Liquid Lipstick in Piedaho (RRP £11)

I love liquid lipsticks and this one from The Beauty Crop is in such a gorgeous vampy, deep red wine shade! This matte formula is long-wearing, but it doesn’t feel drying on the lips and it doesn’t cake up or peel off like some others do, so I’m really happy with it.

The Organic Pharmacy Antioxidant Lip Balm (RRP £13)

I’m thrilled to see that Pink Parcel is now working with The Organic Pharmacy, as I’ve tried a few of their products in the past and loved everything, including this Antioxidant Lip Balm. Formulated with Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Pomegranate and Rosehip Oil, this is very hydrating so perfect for dry and chapped lips. It’s very rich, yet works well underneath lipsticks to keep your lips happy all day long.

Montezuma’s Milk Chocolate Minted Mini Bar & Teapigs Snooze Sleepy Tea

For food and drink this month, there’s a delicious mini bar of Montezuma’s Milk Chocolate Minted with Crunchy Peppermint (I absolutely love mint chocolate so this went down a treat!), and a teabag sample from Teapigs of their popular Snooze Sleepy Tea which is caffeine free and really does help you to relax and get a good night’s sleep.

Marvis Cinnamon Mint Toothpaste (travel size)

To complete June’s Pink Parcel box, there’s a travel size of the famous Marvis Cinnamon Mint Toothpaste which is a luxury Italian brand that often pops up on my Instagram feed, so I’m excited to try it! Perfect for popping into your Summer holiday bag.

Our score: 9.8/ 10
