I was returning home with my 19 month old son after a long exhausting day when I found a box waiting for me in the hallway of our building. Always a lovely surprise! My son loves opening boxes and discovering their content. The nonabox we received was beautifully wrapped, we both started undoing it with excitement.
Lots of goodies were awaiting discovery. My son was squeaking in excitement at each item. He particularly liked the penguin book: Me, by Emma Dodd. He is at that age where images and stories start becoming increasingly meaningful to him. This one contained more colorful images than words, which is very age-appropriate and appreciated.
A MAM toothbrush was also in the box, which my son associates with pre-bed reading time. So the combination was perfect. Theo of course already has a toothbrush but it’s always handy to have a spare for travelling or for future use.
The Cloud.b pillow in the form of a sheep releasing a gentle lavender smell is a gorgeous item! Theo is too young to use it just yet but it decorates his room right now. As soon as we introduce a pillow in his bed, this will be it! It is called ‘coussin doudou a la lavande’ and it helps better sleep. Sounds wonderful, very eager to try.
The BEABA baby spoon with a shape designed to be held at an easier angle for a baby is a genius invention. Theo has been able to use it comfortably. It is spot on, as Theo is insisting on eating by himself lately :) Also grateful that it is suitable for the dishwasher.
The only item that I am afraid we might not have much use for is the dummy holder. Theo uses a dummy only at sleep time and is able to fetch it back if he loses it. But it is a beautiful item (beautifully named pasito a pasito) and Theo has been using it as a toy since he has had it.
I am overall very happy with my gifts. Each item has clearly been thoughtfully chosen. They are beautiful AND useful. I would definitely recommend to other mommies!
