Mask Time – March 2018

Sheet masks have become hugely popular here in the UK, but the best are still from South Korea where the pampering skincare trend originates from. If you’ve been struggling to find authentic sheet masks, why not try a subscription to Mask Time?

Delivered straight to your door on a monthly basis, Mask Time will send you an exciting selection of Korean sheet masks so that you’re all stocked up. You can expect to receive between 8-10 sheet masks every month, plus some K-beauty skincare or cosmetics samples. Postage is also free in the UK which makes it even better value for money!

March’s Mask Time box is themed around the arrival of Spring and has some fantastic masks in it:-

Banobagi Baby Face Injection Mask (RRP £7)

If your skin is feeling tired and dry, why not give it a boost with this Baby Face Injection Mask from Banobagi? Made from 100% soft cotton for better absorption, this mask features a special formula that includes the key hero ingredients of Peptide Edwell Callus Culture, Adenosine and Vitamin E, to revitalise, improve fine lines and make your skin feel as soft as a newborn baby!

Treeannsea Carat Plane A280 Mask (RRP £5)

Using only high quality naturally derived ingredients, this next mask is perfect for those who have a sensitive skin or prefer to use only all-natural products. Hypoallergenic and free from parabens, synthetic fragrances, preservatives and colours, this mask has a natural cellulose sheet which is made from fermented coconuts – how cool is that?! This allows for maximum absorption and feels like a ‘second-skin’. The essence contains Fullerene to help lift sagging skin, Vitamin C and Niacinamide to brighten, and Hyaluronic acid to deeply moisturise.

Scentence Acidic Green Refreshing Sorbet Soothing Mask (RRP £3.50)

This mask really is that bright in real life! Packed full of Citrus Fruit extracts, Aurafium Amara Flower water and Cactus Water, this one is perfect when you want something ultra-cooling and calming for the skin – it really does remind me of a soothing sorbet! I love this mask for helping to brighten a dull complexion quickly so it’s perfect for nights out and special occasions.

Meg Cosmetics Good Night PM Mask (RRP £4.50)

Had a stressful and busy day? What better way to relax for the evening than with this Good Night PM Mask from Meg Cosmetics. Featuring an eco-friendly Lyocell sheet material, this mask is infused with Avocado Fruit extract which is high in fatty acids and antioxidants, whilst Camellia Sinesis Leaf Water gives the skin a vitamin boost to provide both nourishment and moisture. Now that’s what I call a relaxing pampering treat for the skin!

Mediheal Airpacking Mint Wrap Mask (RRP £3.50)

Next up, I found an interesting mask from Mediheal. This is their popular Airpacking Mint Wrap Mask which is an ultra-soothing treatment for sensitive skin. It contains a relaxing blend of Tea Tree and Centella extracts, mixed with a combination of five different herbal ingredients (Sage, Apple Mint, Rosemary, Peppermint and Lavender) to heal and fortify the skin with nutrients. The cotton sheet mask is made from a blend of TPU Film and Mint Pearl Powder which acts as a barrier, locking in the essence and protecting it from the outside world. An innovative and unique mask which is a must-try.

A.H.C Essential Moisturising Mask (RRP £3.50)

Renowned for their combination of scientific skills and knowledge, A.H.C (Aesthetic Hydration Cosmetics) use all natural ingredients in their formulas which is great to see. The 100% cotton mask is infused with an essence that contains nutrient-rich Glacial Milk from Alaska which has anti-aging properties and helps the skin to hold onto moisture for longer and boosts collagen production. There’s also Lavender extract to calm and soothe, and Acasia Flower extract to revitalise, making it an excellent all-rounder mask treatment.

Eunyul Coenzyme Q10 Natural Moisture Mask (RRP £3)

Coenzyme Q10 is a highly coveted and beneficial ingredient to look out for when you’re after something that will help to fight the signs of ageing as it’s a powerful antioxidant. This mask utilises those anti-aging properties, and combines it with Blueberry and Raspberry fruit extracts to deeply nourish the skin, whilst Honeysuckle extract is used for its natural anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. I really loved this one!

Jayjun Baby Pure Shining 3 Step Mask (RRP £4)

The final mask for March’s Mask Time box is a clever 3-step treatment which is perfect for travelling with, especially when you’re flying. The first step includes a Blooming Essence to deeply hydrate the skin and keep it moisturised for longer. The second step is the mask itself called the Baby Pure Shining Mask and this one has an interesting cupro fabric which supplies nutrients to the skin and uses Damask Rose Water to leave the skin vibrant and healthy looking. The final third step is a Hydro Eye Creamm to give some TLC to the delicate eye area and help smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.

An extra K-Beauty bonus sample is included too; a super cute sample of Tony Moly‘s popular Panda’s Dream White Magic Cream. How adorable is that?!

Our score: 9.8/ 10

A brilliant box from Mask Time and I especially liked the fact that there were more natural based masks in this box. Amazing value for money for anyone who loves using sheet masks!
