Mask Time – April 2018

Fancy receiving a box packed full of authentic Korean sheet masks, delivered straight to your door, every month? Mask Time offers this subscription which would be perfect for anyone who is obsessed with skincare (like I am!), or is just starting to explore the wide world of K-Beauty.

Each month, you’ll receive between 8-10 sheet masks (each one is different), plus one or two bonus products and delivery is free in the UK. April’s theme is based on ‘Out With The Old, In With The New’, and is all about getting rid of dull, dead skin cells and revealing a fresher, brighter complexion. With this in mind, I couldn’t wait to see what masks would be included!

Here’s what I found inside April’s Mask Time box:-

As all of the sheet masks are Korean, they don’t always have English instructions on them, so Mask Time always include a handy leaflet detailing all of the product info for the masks included.

The Art:Cell Aurora Pearl Mask (RRP £3.50)

How beautiful is the packaging of this mask?! From the brand, The Art:Cell, this Pearl Mask has been developed to vitalise, brighten and tone-up the skin. It features Niacinamide from the Aurora Pearl to brighten dull complexions and give the skin a luminous glow. I really loved this – it definitely works!

Medi Lab Black Rose Ampoule Mask Pack (RRP £4)

Featuring a unique 100% natural Damask Black Rose Cellulose Fiber Sheet, this mask is able to retain more essence, which helps to minimise any evaporation so that deep moisture and extra nutrients are able to properly penetrate the skin. This allows the mask to deliver the best results, which in this case is brightening and anti-wrinkle benefits. Black Damask Rose Water helps to calm irritated skin too, so this mask can be used by all skin types, including sensitive.

Frienvita Whitening Filtering Yuja Vita C Mask (RRP £3.50)

Developed as one of the first sheet masks to have a skin filtering function, this mask helps to protect the skin from fine dust and pollution. It contains a good dose of Vitamin C to alleviate pigmentation and produce more elastin, keeping the skin supple and looking clearer. A great mask to try if you have any dark spots.

Hectic It’s Pack Time 07:00 AM Mask (RRP £3.50)

The girl’s face on the packaging says it all – this is a mask for busy people! It has the essence on only one side of the mask so that you can get on with the rest of your daily routine and don’t have to worry about your hair sticking to it, or not being able to get dressed on time. Clever!

Laneige Two Tone Brightening Sheet Mask (RRP £5.50)

I haven’t come across any two-tone sheet masks before, so this was a really interesting one to try out. It basically addresses two skin issues on different parts of the face at the same time, with a brightening effect on the top half, and a more hydrating essence on the bottom half. Perfect for those who have tricky combination skin.

It’s Skin Power 10 Formula VE Mask (RRP £3.50)

Get your glow on with this mask from It’s Skin which has been formulated with Vitamin E to provide moisture, Vitamin C to ensure healthy skin promotion and Eucalyptus extract to soothe any irritation and strengthen the skin’s natural barrier. I loved using this one!

Re. DNA Recovery Ampoule Mask Pask (RRP £4)

This one had an unusual natural agage extract based ‘skin gel’ sheet mask which was very soft and supple in texture and fitted my face like a second skin. It’s formulated with hydrolysed Marine Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid and Tri-Peptide to improve elasticity, repair damaged skin cells, soothe the skin, prevent wrinkles and give it a moisture boost all at the same time.

Roseheart Daily Brightening Pink Mask (RRP £4)

Awww this mask was so cute! It’s pink and has heart-shaped eyes! Enriched with Adrisia Crispa extract which has brightening qualities, Rose Water to soften the skin, Vita-Complex 10 to combat the effects of ageing and Hyaluronic Acid to provide long-lasting moisture, this mask was such a pampering pleasure to use.

Dewpiel Defence Mask Pore (RRP £4)

If enlarged pores of your main skincare concern, this is the mask for you. Made by Dewpiel, the sheet itself has been specially developed to pull away any trapped dirt and dust particles in the skin, which stops bacteria from being able to breed on the skin, thus unclogging pores and keeping them clear. There’s also Witch Hazel and Tea Tree to help soothe blemish prone skin.

Salon De Ite Skin Tuning Recipe (RRP £2.99)

This month’s bonus product is one of Korea’s bestsellers and is described as a game changer in the K-Beauty world! It’s a mini exfoliating glove which unclogs pores, deep cleans the skin and has a dual side which can be used to remove makeup – how clever is that?!

MJ Care Premium Hand Care Pack (RRP £4)

To celebrate the launch of Mask Time’s new Glow Starter Box, they have also included an additional bonus surprise in the shape of a hand mask which is basically a super moisturising sheet mask, but for your hands!

Our score: 9.8/ 10

Another excellent box from Mask Time and the bonus products were a lovely surprise to find!
