It’s time for the final subscription boxes of the year and the Lookfantastic December box is one of the best yet! I love that they’ve started to include less skincare and more makeup within their boxes. My only negative for the boxes was the vast amount of skincare each month so I’m so glad that it has changed now. The box design is reminiscent of their amazing advent calendar which I’ve already reviewed and loved.
Karl Lagerfeld + Model Co Brow Pencil
The December box contains six items, three of which are full sized, I think. The first makeup item is from a brand that is very common within beauty subscription boxes – I do wish that it was switched up more often. The brow pencil I received is in the medium/dark shade which is perfect for me. I have been looking into new brow products recently as the shadow I’m currently using is a little time consuming. Brow pencils are typically very quick and easy to use!
This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Mist
Out of all the products I think the sponge, primer and this pillow mist are my favourites. I’ve tried this pillow mist previously and I adore it. I have always struggled to sleep and this mist has been a miracle for me as it smells so relaxing!
Limited Edition Lookfantastic Beauty Sponge
One of my favourite items from the box, as it’s a product I use constantly, is a pink sponge. I use a sponge to apply my foundation every time I wear makeup, especially at this time of the year because I have very dry skin and it makes my foundation apply so much nicer. I will definitely get so much use out of this sponge!
Illamasqua Hydra Veil
I think I’ve received this mini previously but I’m happy to have another. It’s a fantastic primer for those with dry skin as I do. I love the packaging, the little tub and it’s a great size for travelling too. The primer is great for long lasting makeup wear and added skincare benefits of hydrating the skin.
Dr Botanicals Pomegranate Superfood Brightening Eye Serum
I have tried quite a few products from this brand over the past year or so and I cannot recommend them enough. I love the packaging, the brand is vegan and cruelty free and it’s full of natural ingredients. In my opinion, this brand and it’s products are great for those with sensitive skin as I do. I personally don’t really use a specific eye serum or eye cream but I will have to give this a go.
Grow Gorgeous Scalp Detox
The final product from the box is one I’m not thrilled about as I did try it and it acted almost as gritty superglue in my hair…however, I might give it another go! It’s an exfoliating scalp treatment which sounds amazing and something I’d benefit from but maybe I used too much product at once.
