I love receiving the amazing LookFantasic boxes but their limited edition boxes are even better, if you can believe it. Their latest box is the ‘Black Friday’ box which has to be one of the best value boxes out there. You can buy the box for £25 (or £20, if you’re already subscribed to their monthly box) but the value is over £120! Their boxes are always fantastic value for money but this box is incredible.
Seoulista Beauty Charcoal Mask – worth £7.99
Let’s start with some of the skincare from the box, beginning with this sheet mask from Seoulista which is composed of bamboo and contains volcanic ash and charcoal to detoxify the skin. I have tried a few sheet masks and I do prefer the more nostalgic cream or clay masks but I do want to try more especially Korean masks which always receive rave reviews.
Eve Lom Cleanser and Cloth – worth £10
Next up is a very famous luxe brand, Eve Lom. The cleanser and cloth are packaged so beautifully, even for a mini product. I have tried a sample of this cleanser years ago and it didn’t work well with my irritated eczema prone skin although now that I don’t have eczema, I can’t wait to try it again.
Ciate Glow To Highlighter – worth £26
There are two shades you could have received, either celestial or solstice. I received solstice which is a beautifully pearly pink shade that looks very pretty on the skin but it is a subtle shade when blended. The one thing I absolutely love about this item is the packaging as the compact itself is so beautiful.
Luxie 504 Brush – worth £10.99
One of my favourite products from the box is definitely this Luxie brush! I have tried a few of their brushes from the LookFantastic advent calendar and this one is just as soft, smooth and effective. I have been using it to blend my highlighter or my contour.
Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm – worth £8
Next up is another favourite and it is from Pixi which is a brand I’ve wanted to try more from. I have only tried a couple of their skincare products and eyeliners but I’ve loved everything so I knew I’d like this lip balm. I have the shade scarlet sorbet which looks like a cherry red in the tube but it more pink toned and brighter on the lips. I love the shade and it is very moisturising.
Eyeko Eye Do Mini Liner – worth £9
The final makeup item is an eyeliner from Eyeko, which is a brand that makes fantastic liners and mascaras. I love their liquid liners so I’m glad to have another especially as it is a handy travel size liner.
Dr Dennis Gross Exfoliating Moisturiser – worth £20.50
Back to a couple of skincare items, followed by body care and haircare. Dr Dennis Gross is a skincare brand I’ve heard good things about but not one I’ve really tried, probably because it more on the pricey side. The moisturiser claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines, strengthen the skins moisture barrier and helps to accelerate cell turnover. I’m glad that there’s a range of brands and price ranges which this box! It’s great for makeup or skincare beginners or those who want to try a variety of brands at a reduced price.
Naobay Body Radiance Lotion – worth £9
One of the full sized items is this huge body lotion from the natural and organic brand, Naobay. It’s another brand I haven’t really tried but it sounds fantastic! This toning body milk is designed to nourish the skin and protect it from environmental aggressors.
We Are Paradoxx Hangover Hair Elixir – worth £10
Last but not least is a bit of an unusual product, it’s a hair elixir that contains…irish whisky. It sounds very odd but the packaging is very intriguing and the before/after photographs online for this product look amazing so I cannot wait to try it out!
