Do you enjoy trying out new flavours of artisan gin? Do you appreciate luxury and high-end tonics and mixers? If the answer’s yes, I Love Gin is the subscription box for you! This monthly box delivers a selection of artisan gins and premium mixers straight to your door, and each box contains enough to make up to four G&Ts.
This month’s box is themed The Heart Of England and below is an overview of the contents to give you an example of what you can expect when you subscribe to I Love Gin:-
Burleighs Signature London Dry Gin (50ml, 40% vol)
Both gins this month are from Burleighs and the first that I tried is their Signature London Dry Gin (black bottle). Every single batch is hand-crafted and distilled in traditional copper stills in a distillery which is surrounded by beautiful countryside (the name Burleighs is derived from this local woodland). The head distiller at Burleighs is Charlie Hendon who has been helping to add an extra female touch to this lasting gin legacy. With a fresh and a Juniper heavy flavour, plus botanicals of Silver Birch, Dandelion, Burdock and Elderberries, Burleighs Signature London Dry Gin is the perfect base for a truly classic G&T!
Burleighs Pink Edition Gin (50ml, 40% vol)
This cute Pink Edition features all the classic notes of Burleighs Signature London Dry Gin blended with a floral and delicate selection of botanicals. Here you’ll taste notes of Japanese Cherry Blossom, Hibiscus, Rose and Pink Grapefruit for a lovely spring twist that’a bursting full of exotic, summery flavour.
Schweppes 1783 Crisp Tonic Water (200ml)
The 1783 range is Schweppes line of premium tonics and it owes its name to the year that Jacob Schweppe first invented the process to capture and bottle bubbles. What an occasion! This Crisp Tonic Water is the ideal match for the Burleighs Signature London Dry Gin.
Lixir Rhubarb & Ginger Tonic Water (200ml)
Featuring notes of sweet and earthy Rhubarb with the zingy fresh spice of Ginger, this tonic water has been blended to be low in Quinine for a perfectly dry finish. It’s no wonder then that it works so well with the Burleighs Pink Edition Gin for a G&T that you’ll want to drink all summer!
