If you’re looking for a more eco-friendly lifestyle subscription box, GreenEcoBox is a fantastic box to try out. Every month, they produce two different types of boxes, a beauty based box and a lifestyle & foodie themed box called Bee Happy, which is the one that I’m going to discuss below.
But who are GreenEcoBox? This European based company works with over 70 artisans from across the UK and Europe, so as a subscriber, you’ll receive a variety of beautiful products, all with an eco-friendly stance. It’s a great way to support and discover small businesses, many of which are family owned, and GreenEcoBox also donates £4.50 to Greenpeace for every Bee Happy Box sold, as well as planting a tree in Haiti on your behalf (by OneTreePlanted).
So onto the contents of June’s Bee Happy Box! Here’s everything that I found inside the box this month:-
Sicilian Exquisiteness Pistachio Biscuits
The first item that I picked out of the box was a packet of Pistachio Biscuits from Sicilian Exquisiteness. As the name suggests, these are handmade in Sicily and are delicate sweet pastry style biscuits that are made from a delicious Pistachio paste. Pure heaven! The plastic box packaging can also be re-used afterwards to store food for picnics or your jewellery on your vanity table.
Sicilian Exquisiteness Artichoke & Almond Pâté
Also from Sicilian Exquisiteness is a generous sized jar of Artichoke & Almond Pâté which is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. It’s made from an expert blend of 55% Artichokes, Sunflower Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 5% Almonds and a sprinkling of all-natural flavours. You can use it as a side dish for making bruschetta, or add to tapas and sandwiches as a tasty lunchtime treat.
Autour du Bain Cranberry Bath Melt
Next up, I found an incredibly delicious scented Cranberry Bath Melt from the French artisans, Autour du Bain. Handmade, this luxury bath melt is packed full of Cocoa and Shea Butters to gently melt into a hot bath and it will work wonders for moisturising dry skin. The scent is so strong and bursting full of Cranberries and Cherries – almost good enough to eat!
Gabys Gruner Garten Pineapple Syrup
Liven up your Summer cocktails with this fruity Pineapple Syrup which is handmade by the German artisans Gabys Gruner Garten. Containing only natural ingredients, it features 80% fresh Pineapple which is blended with a little water and Brown Sugar, to make a delicious syrup. Add to Prosecco cocktails or make an alternative Belinni.
Thierry Court Chocolate Peanut Butter Artisanal Spread
I’m a huge fan of proper peanut butter, so I was thrilled to see this jar in the box! Handmade by the famous Thierry Court who was awarded the Best Pastry Chef accolade in France, this decadent Chocolate Peanut Butter is absolutely moreish and tastes amazing on virtually everything – or just eat it straight out of the jar with a spoon!
GreenEcoBox also added a packet of extras in the box and this contained two tea samples from Higher Living Organic, three mini chocolates from Valrhona and a yummy Financier aux Amandes which is palm oil free and made with organic butter.
