Degustabox – September 2020: Family Sharing & Home Cooking

September’s Degustabox is themed Family Sharing & Home Cooking and as always, features a large variety of exciting food and drink products to try out! There’s a lot inside, so let’s get stuck in, shall we?

Please note: We have been sent the PR Degustabox so your contents may be slightly different – we have pointed this out throughout the review.

Hartley’s Jelly Pots in Raspberry (RRP £1.65)

Bursting full of fruity flavour, Hartley’s jelly pots are a hit with kids and grown-ups alike and this Raspberry flavour is also suitable for vegetarians with absolutely no artificial colours or flavours. Brilliant!

McVitie’s V.I.Bs (RRP £1.79)

For a naughty treat, these brand new McVivitie’s V.I.Bs are a really indulgent biscuit thanks to a combination of chewy caramel with smooth milk chocolate. There are a couple of different flavours to choose from and these are the Heavenly Chocolate Hazelnut flavour which are amazing.

Peter’s Yard Original Sourdough Crispbread (free sample)

An award-winning sourdough crispbread, these are hand-baked slowly win small batches with a signature sourdough starter which has been fermented for 16 hours. Light, crunchy and the ideal accompaniment with your favourite cheese.

Emily Veg Thins (RRP £0.79 each)

New from Emily Snacks, these Veg Thins are basically healthier Doritos which are made from all-natural ingredients. Each pack is around 90 calories so they are a tasty and crunchy guilt-free snack and I enjoyed both of these flavours – Chipotle BBQ and Sea Salt.

Amy’s Kitchen Organic Vegetable Barley Soup (RRP £1.89)

A classic and comforting combination of winter vegetables simmered together in a flavourful broth with hearty barley, this organic soup is a winter classic for sure! Vegan-friendly and low-fat too.

Naked Chicken Yakisoba (RRP £1)

New from Naked, this packet of Japanese style Chicken Yakisoba is ready in just 5 minutes for a quick and easy meal. Simply add your favourite veg and protein and you’re done!

Rhythm 108 Sweet ‘n’ Salty Almond Bar (RRP £1.49)

Made with smooth almond butter, oat flour and covered in silky dairy-free milk chocolate, this Sweet ‘n’ Salty bar takes 3 days to make to get it perfect and contains 45% less sugar than other chocolate bars. It’s also vegan and made from organic ingredients. I absolutely loved this and will definitely be purchasing more!

Thatcher’s Cloudy Lemon Cider (RRP £5.50 for a 4 pack)

Mixing juicy and tangy lemons with classic apples, Thatcher’s Cloudy Lemon Cider is a refreshing drink to enjoy at the weekends or when you’re having a BBQ.

Nakd Chocolish Bars in Raspberry (RRP £3)

Another new product launch, these Nakd bars are drizzled in rich Chocolish, a healthier chocolate alternative, and are made with 100% natural ingredients and no added sugar. The subtle Raspberry flavour is really lovely – another product that I’ll be buying again!

Whitworths Chocolate Biscuit and Hazelnut Mix (RRP £2)

A new and delicious snack treat from Whitworths, this pack contains a mix of chocolate biscuits, hazelnuts and juicy raisins to help mix things up. Suitable for vegetarians and perfect to share.

Lucozade Revive (RRP £1.49)

Also new is this Lucozade Revive drink which is a lightly sparkling fruity soft drink paced with essential B Vitamins to give you extra energy and a boost throughout the day.

Fulfil Chocolate Hazelnut Whip Protein Bar (RRP £2)

Containing 15g of protein per bar, Fulfils Protein Bars are the ideal post-gym/workout snack to refuel and they contain 30% of your RDA of daily vitamins too.

St Lawrence Gold Pure Canadian Maple Syrup (RRP £1)

The last product are two mini bottles of St Lawrence Gold Pure Canadian Maple Syrup and this tastes amazing! Very rich, sweet and utterly delicious.
