Degustabox – October 2019: Home Comforts

Handmade in Wales since 2015, they are available in different flavours and are suitable for vegans, as well as being much lower in sugar than other hot chocolate products. They’ve recently won the Luxury Hot Chocolate Retailer of the year so you’ll find one of their delicious chocolate coins in your box this month to try out.

Amy’s Kitchen Organic Hearty Rustic Italian Vegetable Soup (RRP £2)

I’m a big fan of the Amy’s Kitchen brand and this Organic Hearty Rustic Italian Vegetable Soup is absolutely delicious! Packed with chickpeas, mixed vegetables, brown rice and traditional herbs, this soup makes a substantial and filling quick lunch or dinner. Gluten and dairy-free, as well as being suitable for vegans.

Growers Garden Fresh Broccoli Crisps (RRP £1.29)

Fancy trying a new type of healthier crisp alternative? These ones from Growers Garden are partly made with fresh broccoli and are less than 99 calories per bag. They are low in saturated fat, gluten-free and vegan-friendly, plus they have a lovely crunch to them. You’ll find one of three flavours in your box – above are all the flavours shown – the Chilli one is especially good!

Cadbury Boost + Protein Bar (RRP £1.49)

If you want to pack even more protein into your diet, Cadbury’s have added protein crisps to this special version of their much-loved Boost chocolate bars. With 12g of protein in each bar, it’s a good one to reach for if you fancy a sweet post-gym treat.

Tick Tock Tea (RRP £2.05)

I love the packaging of this Tick Tock Tea – how cute! One of Britain’s most loved independent tea brands, Tick Tock have recently launched three new wellbeing teas which are all caffeine-free and have a range of natural benefits. You’ll find one variety of tea in your box to try out and above is the full range – definitely something to look out for on your next supermarket trip.

Teisseire Gourmet Drops in Chocolate and Vanilla (RRP £3.99 each)

Guilt-free and full of flavour, Teisseire’s Gourmet Drops will add some extra luxury sweetness to your coffees and hot chocolates this month. Vegan-friendly, sugar-free, carb-free, gluten-free and fat-free, a tiny amount is you need – just squeeze into your drink and stir, easy!

Upbeat Drinks Juicy Protein Water in Blood Orange and Mandarin (RRP £1.79)

If you’re not a fan of protein shakes, why not try this vitamin and protein-enriched water drink from Upbeat? This new product contains 12g of protein in every bottle and is also sugar-free and bursting with fruity flavour. The perfect drink to refresh and recharge after exercise.

Snatt’s Garlic & Parsley Mediterranean Baked Snacks (RRP £1.49)

Maple Syrup is the pancake topping of choice for many, so the next time you make some, try Clarks Original Maple Syrup which features a blend of the classic Candian sweet stuff with Carob Fruit Syrup for a healthier alternative. This blend also makes it 45% less sugar than granulated white sugar so why not drizzle it into drinks and over porridge too.
