Degustabox – March 2020: Hello Spring

This month’s Degustabox is themed Hello Spring and is packed full of exciting food and drink products for the whole family to enjoy! Always representing excellent value for money, the boxes are delivered straight to your door and often contain new products which have just launched onto the market so they’re often a fun way to discover something new.

Here’s what’s inside the March box:-

Please note: We have been sent the PR Degustabox so your contents may be slightly different – we have pointed this out throughout the review.

Smarties Buttons (RRP £1.59)

New from Nestle, you will find one of these exciting bags of Smarties Buttons in your Degustabox this month, in either the Milk or White Chocolate flavour. These are really yummy as they’re smooth chocolate buttons that have been filled with crunchy mini Smarties. No artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.

Merchant’s Heart Tonic Water (RRP £1.30)

Premium tonic waters really do make all the difference when it comes to making a killer G&T, and this bottle of Tonic Water from Merchant’s Heart is a great example of why it’s worth splashing out a bit more!

Marmite Crunchy Peanut Butter (RRP £2.50)

Will you love it or hate it?! Marmite always divides opinions and this brand new product from them is sure to spark conversations within the family as it’s been infused in crunchy peanut butter! I actually really like this on toast or crumpets, and it’s free from added sugar and palm oil which is brilliant.

Nudie Snacks Broad Beans in Sour Cream & Chive (RRP £1.59)

For a healthy snack on the go, these Broad Beans are packed full of flavour thanks to their Sour Cream & Chive seasoning. High in fibre and veggie protein, they keep hunger at bay and are a healthier alternative to other savoury snacks. I’ll definitely be buying more of these!

Galaxy Oat Drink (RRP £1.50)

New from Galaxy is a dairy-free, vegan-friendly Oat Milk Drink which has all the great taste of smooth and rich Galaxy chocolate. It has no added sugar and is certified by the Vegan Society. I love it :)

Naked Noodle Singapore Curry (RRP £1.20)

This easy to prepare pot of Naked Noodle Singapore Curry features tasty egg noodles in an aromatic curry sauce. There’s plenty of spices in here to tantalise the taste buds and with no artificial colours or preservatives, it’s a good option for when you’re short on time and need something fast and filling for lunch.

Cadbury 30% Less Sugar Hot Chocolate (RRP £2.49)

If you’ve been looking for a less sugary version of Cadbury’s famous Hot Chocolate, your prayers have been answered! Their new 30% Less Sugar version is naturally sweetened with no artificial sweeteners and it tastes surprisingly similar to the original. It’s also less calories so it’s a win, win all round.

Wotsits Sizzling Steak and Flamin’ Hot (RRP £1 each)

Take a trip down memory lane and rediscover two iconic Wotsits flavours which have been brought back from the past! Here’s Sizzling Steak and Flamin’ Hot in share size bags for your munching pleasure.

Homepride Superior Sponge Flour (RRP £2)

New from Homepride is their exciting Superior Sponge Flour which is made from 100% British Wheat Flour. This silky flour has been premium milled so it’s lighter and airier for all of your favourite sponge classics, and as it’s also pre-sieved, it saves you time in the kitchen too.

Highball Alcohol-Free Pink G&T (RRP £1.99)

Just like the real thing but without the alcohol, this month you’ll be able to discover a refreshing alcohol-free cocktail from Highball. With a choice of six popular cocktails to discover – which one did you receive? I loved this Pink G&T!

Knorr Stock Pot in Kaffir Lime & Ginger and Paprika & Sundried Tomato (RRP £0.95 each)

Another new product, this time from Knorr, these vegan-friendly, gluten-free flavoured Stock Pots are a brilliant store cupboard staple to instantly add depth and flavour to any vegetarian or vegan dish. To use, just add to boiling water as directed to dissolve and add to your stew, pasta or pie recipe.

Seedlip Garden 108 (RRP £3)

Finally, we have a mini bottle of Seedlip Garden 108 which is the world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirit. With a fresh and floral flavour, it pairs with any tonic water for a delicious drink that you can enjoy at any time of the day or night.
