Curious Tea review

Oh my God, I was so excited when I received my Curious Tea “Mixed Subscription” on Saturday!

You can see the packaging below, quite a long thin box that nicely fits in the letterbox. I did find however that it wasn’t properly closed (right hand side) but when I opened it, the content was intact. I really like the blue wrapping, it has a nice texture!

I received two types of tea: Pine Needle & Dragon Well! You have a good amount of product in both packaging, I’m glad you can fit so much in a letterbox-type box!

In addition to the two tea-bags; there are two tea cards which describe a bit more the tea itself. You also have space to put your own tasting notes! I’m definitely keeping those! There is additional info on the tea bags themselves, such as the origin of the tea, brewing time, temperature of water to use, amount of tea to put and the tea-profile. There is also the amount (50g).

As you can see the Pine Needle looks like pine needles, it’s pretty cool! I’d never tried this type of tea and I really like it. It’s got a warm flavour which is quite smooth, if that makes sense! I didn’t feel too much smokiness which is perfect for me as I don’t like it when it’s too strong.

I tried the Dragon Well and really like it too, I followed the instructions to leave it not too long to infuse and really enjoyed fresh light fruity flavour.

For both teas, you can see that they are very very good quality (not a cheap thing you find in supermarkets with broken leaves). Both teas gave a nice clear tea when poured in the cups!

I am definitely going to continue enjoying drinking these two teas, it’s going to help me get motivated to get out of bed for work tomorrow!!!
