Gin of the Month: Stranger & Songs Gin (70cl / 42.8% vol)
This month’s featured gin is distilled in Goa, India by the Third Eye Distillery and is a remarkable addition to your drinks cabinet. Described as an inherently Indian gin, Stranger & Sons Gin is infused with an interesting blend of botanicals which includes Juniper, Indian Citrus Peel Mix, Coriander Seed, Nutmeg, Mace, Indian Black Pepper, Angelica Root, Cassia Bark and Liquorice Root.
It’s fresh, sweet and spicy with a warming finish that makes it perfect for the cooler months ahead as we move into Autumn. It’s lovely to try out such different gins like this and it’s a great example of what you can expect if you subscribe to Craft Gin Club today!
Mixers & Drinks: Martin Probisher’s Pineapple Juice, The London Essence Co Bitter Orange & Elderflower Tonic Waters and Campari
There’s a wide selection of mixers and drinks to enjoy this month starting with two bottles of The London Essence Co Bitter Orange and Elderflower Tonic Waters (the ideal accompaniment to create the Perfect G&T this month). Following on, you can use Martin Probisher’s Pineapple Juice as the key mixer in The Cocktail Of The Month (recipe in your GINNED! magazine), and for something different, why not try a Campari Gin & Tonic? It’s delicious!
Garnishes & Syrups: Lemon & Green Peppercorn and Gin-A-Colada Cocktail Syrup
To complete the Cocktail Of The Month recipe, add a decent splash of Gin-A-Colada Cocktail Syrup and mix, whilst the Lemon & Green Peppercorn can be added to the Perfect G&T this month. Both drinks are amazing!
Savoury & Sweet Snacks: Mr Singh’s Spicy Tandoori Chicken Chilli Crisps, Howdah Onion Bhaji Snack and Tony’s Chocolonely Milk Chocolate Caramel Sea Salt Bar
The finishing touches to the box are of course the awesome premium savoury and sweet snacks!
