Callaly is a British period care brand that has created a fully customisable subscription box tailored to your period needs. They have a wide range of high-quality products to choose from which are all made from 100% organic cotton that have no perfume, pesticides or chlorine bleach.
You can mix and match from pads, liners, non-applicator tampons and their unique and brand new ‘tampliner’ – an organic cotton tampon which comes with an in-built mini liner for extra protection – what a great idea!
Boxes are delivered free of charge and arrive in sustainable packaging with the box itself having a neat fold-out design.
Once open, you can discover a range of new information all about your body by following the prompts to Callaly‘s online pages- there’s a whole community that you can join as well as a book club!
In addition to the handy leaflet which shows you how to use the period products, you can see how ethical Callaly are with their certification logos which they proudly display in the box. Here you’ll find that Callaly are Made In Britain, use only 100% organic cotton and that they’re a Certified B Corporation.
For the contents of the box itself, I chose a mix of pads and liners and these were neatly packaged in compostable wrappers. The Day Pads come in packets of four which makes them easy to pop into your handbag, the Night Pads are in packets of four and the Liners are in packets of six.
Each Callaly box has enough to cover you for the month and I imagine there may be a few pads leftover as well to use next time. Each pad is high-quality and has a soft cotton feeling that makes you feel fresh and secure. Brilliant!
