Boxcitement – March 2019: Putting a Spring in your step

I’m a big fan of the monthly Boxcitement box, although I have to say the theme this month is a bit random! There were a few unusual additions that raised an eyebrow  when I first looked but actually I love them.

What was in the box?

  • A wooden feather pendant
  • A lovely leafy coffee spoon
  • An Easter bunny style plant pot holder
  • A wooden twig pencil
  • A bamboo trinket dish
  • A notecard and envelope
  • A gift wrap set of matching paper and gift tag.

The highlights

I really liked the quirky wooden pendant in this months box. It came in a sweet little paper bag with matching sticker and would make a lovely gift on it’s own. I’ll definitely be wearing mine this week

I am not sure how much it fitted the theme, and it’s a bit strange having a random coffee spoon but I really do think the spoon in this months box is lovely! I love the oil slick style colours and just think its a great addition (albeit somewhat odd!). Very good news to see that it is dishwasher safe too.

The trinket dish is also a beautiful little addition. It came in a small organza bag and is perfect for 2-3 small items that you might wear all the time. I loved the tulip print on the bottom and this will definitely get a lot of use.

Another good, but slightly random item, was the plant pot stand! I can’t say I really have a need for this but I liked the quirky bunny design and I can see myself using this. I might put it on my desk as I seem to have more success with houseplants at work than I do in my own home! Plus I think it will make a bit of a talking point.

The card and gift wrap in this box were also great. In earlier boxes I’ve put these aside and used some but not others but I can definitely see these being used; In fact, I was a big gutted that I’d bought some wrapping paper before coming home to see the box!

Our score: 9.8/ 10

Another hit from the Boxcitement team. I've just deducted one point on the selection of products due to the randomness of some of the items this month. I really liked them but not sure they will be everyone's cup of tea. But I am nit-picking to be honest. It was a great value box with some lovely items in it that will definitely be used.
