Toppbox is a monthly box of men’s grooming supplies. It costs £19 per month plus £3.35 p+p, but the box contents will always be a considerably higher value.
I love skincare products, but for this I have enlisted my lovely husband, Big C, to try out the items and give his considered opinion!
No labels on the box, as it arrives nicely padded in a jiffy bag.
On top you can see the menu card.
It has details for all the items, plus prices (I check them all!)
This Evolve Liquid Crystal 2-in-1 Micellic Cleanser comes beautifully packaged in a glass bottle with a separate spray attachment. It’s suitable for all skin types, and a very easy way to clean off your face. It also means Big C will stop using mine and use his own now!
This Pits & Bits Rinse Free Shampoo is a very clever product. Basically you can wash your hair without running water. You apply it to the scalp, rub in, and towel off. I can imagine this would be very useful camping or at a festival when water is scarce.
I’m afraid I had a little giggle at the Manscaped Crop Reviver. As you might expect, it’s a spray to keep your, er, underwear area fresh in hot weather. I have to say that smirking aside, this would be the perfect product in this particularly hot and sweaty time of year.
Big C has found a new favourite perfume! Ruth Mastenbroek Oxford Eau de Parfum is absolutely delicious. It’s certainly pricey, but worth every penny. A great treat.
I always thought teeth whitening products involved bleach and blue light, but apparently this Rogue Teeth Whitening Applicator Pen doesn’t require it. We’ve not had a change to properly test this (I’ve been away so this review is very late!) but anything that will combat the results of coffee and red wine has to be good thing!
Finally, this B-Line Deodorising Foot Spray is another great summer product. Nice and cooling in this hot weather!
This is a great collection of products, perfectly selected for the hot weather.
One small thing. I check all the prices and there’s one inaccuracy: the teeth whitening pen is listed is £14.99 not £22. However this is a very small niggle, as it all still represents incredible value for money, you get an awful lot of bang for your buck here.
Big C’s favourite was the perfume, though the sprays are going to come in handy too. I’m also glad he’s now got his own micellar water, though I’m also envious because it’s lovely to use.
Natural products, no animal testing etc. are an important part of these products, and they are often from smaller niche brands, so it’s a lovely way to discover new things.
