If you’re a fan of beautifully scented candles, wax melts and love getting new home and lifestyle accessories every month, Scent From is the subscription box for you! Each month, they curate their boxes around a popular travel destination and take their subscribers on a ‘scent journey’ to that place. It’s a great way to experience something new and different every time, which keeps their boxes constantly interesting so I always look forward to receiving them.
The contents are a surprise each time, but you’ll always receive at least one main ‘hero’ candle, alongside a selection of other high-quality home fragrance and accessory products.
This month, Scent From takes us to the Far East with a trip to Thailand’s Bangkok, a city that’s been on my wanderlust list for a very long time and somewhere that I hope to visit in the very near future. Every box that I’ve received so far from Scent From has smelt amazing when I’ve opened it up, but March’s edition is definitely their best yet!
Here’s what I found inside:-Jones Home & Gift Buddha Head Oil Burner
This Budda Head Oil Burner came packaged in its own box to protect it during transit and arrived in perfect condition. Made from white ceramic, it adds a decorative touch to any room and feels high-quality. When you take off the very top of the head part, you’ll find the area where you can add a wax melt and behind it is where you can light a tealight. It’s a good size too with a deep well for the wax melt that allows a great scent throw from it. Scent From Bangkok Natural Wax Tin Candle in Oriental Fig
This month’s hero candle comes in a gold tin and features a light blue wraparound print depicting the Bangkok cityscape. Made from natural wax, this purple coloured candle is infused with an exotic, fresh Fig scent that smells sweet, floral and fruity. To me, it’s like experiencing the start of Spring in a candle because it’s sunny and fresh, like walking through a garden filled with flowers. I can imagine a scent like this in one of the royal Thai gardens! Will burn for around 40 hours.Jones Home & Gift Scented Flower Tealights
Wow, these are so beautiful! Here were have a pack of 10 scented tealights which have been handmade in Thailand and shaped into exotic flowers. The detailing is very intricate and I love all of the bright colours. They smell just like you’d imagine exotic flowers to smell like as I get an overall scent of Jasmine and heady floral Incense with fresh, sweet tones. I think these might be too pretty to use though! A lovely way to add some vibrant colour to your room, or you can use them outside to create your own tranquil, oriental garden.Flamingo Candles Wax Melt in Thai Lime & Mango
The last product in this month’s Scent From box comes from one of my favourite home fragrance brands, Flamingo Candles. Everything that I’ve tried from them has smelt so good and they have an incredible range of unique scent combinations available. This wax melt in Thai Lime and Mango is one of their new scents which is really exciting to receive and it smells amazing! I’ve been burning this in the Buddha Head Oil Burner and my housemates have been complimenting me on how good it smells. Like the other scents in this box, it’s fresh and fruity but with a distinctive zingy lime element to it. I’ll definitely be purchasing more of these wax melts when it runs out!
I absolutely loved this month’s Scent From box – the theme was on point and all of the products are just fantastic. A lovely subscription box to treat yourself to!
