Pop Vinyl’s are available in so many places now, even the little town we live in! What’s even better if you like to collect the varied Pop’s from Funko is the monthly subscription service you can sign up to from Pop In A Box. You can opt to get two to twelve Pop Vinyl’s every month to grow your collection and the valuable thing about the site is that you can ‘thumbs up’ and ‘thumbs down’ the huge variety of Pop’s to your likes and dislikes. This way you will only receive Pop’s you actually want to own instead of random ones you don’t.
The beauty of the subscription is that you save money on the Pop Vinyl’s you buy via the subscription every month, and when the package comes it’s a surprise what you will get – however you always know it will be only the Pop’s you have approved to add to your collection.
My March Duo were delivered and I was thrilled to get the Marty McFly 245 from Pop! Movies – with the added skateboard! Such a cute stylised vinyl figure and he only needs Dr Emmett Brown next to him now to look perfect! These Pop’s really have mass appeal and I think it’s quite hard to put an ‘best for this age’ on them as all ages love them. From the younger collectors ( my 10 year old loves collecting them) the teens ( my 16 year old has a growing collection) to the ‘ahem’ *older* collectors i.e. – me! Younger collectors may go for Disney Pop Vinyl’s as mine has, teens may go for Harry Potter and Hunger Games Pop Vinyls while us older collectors may opt for the classic Pop’s from movies and comics.
Also from Pop! Movies I got the Mr Darcy 268 from Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, one of six Pop’s from the film all really stylised and cute looking. Once you get one Pop in a collection it does spur you on to collect the whole series and this set is no exception. Once you have an idea on the website about the categories of Pop’s you want to collect, you can choose away and sit back in the knowledge you won’t get any of the Pop’s on your ‘blacklist’ which you really don’t want in your collection. So only your most wanted join your collection and there is even the chance to win exclusive Pop Vinyl’s every month. Don’t worry if you think Pop In A Box may not have the characters you want to collect as they have such a lot of variety from Game Of Thrones to Disney and everything in between, with many exclusive Pop’s too. Another bonus of being a subscriber each month is that you go into a draw to win lots of limited edition Pop’s to add to your collection.
I’m really looking forward to seeing what next month’s Pop Vinyl’s will be from Pop In A Box and once you have a taste for the subscription service it’s so tempting to increase the number of Pop’s you get!
