Pink Parcel – July 2018: The Glow Edit

If you haven’t heard of Pink Parcel before, they are a monthly subscription box which sends out all of your period essentials straight to your door. I love this concept because I’ve lost count of the times that I’ve ran out at home and had to do an emergency run to the shop, so it takes a lot of stress and hassle out of your period having everything delivered in one box. Not only that, but they also include an amazing selection of pampering, beauty and foodie treats to go along with them, so it’s really all about treating yourself!

This month’s box is themed The Glow Edit, but let’s take a quick look at those period essentials first.

The Pink Parcel box is divided up into smaller boxes once you open it up, and three of these are dedicated to your period essentials which you can select via your online profile when you sign up. You can choose from pads, tampons or a mix of the two, and you can also pick your favourite brand such as Always, Tampax and Bodyform. As you can see, you get more than enough to cover you for the month as there are regular pads, night pads and panty liners included.

On the left-hand side of the Pink Parcel, you’ll find a box called ‘For You’ and this is where the pampering goodies are, so let’s see what’s been sent this month!

Magn!tone Wipe Out Cloth (1 cloth, retails for £14.99 for two)

I’ve seen these cloths all over Youtube and beauty blogs, so it’s great to finally have one to try out for myself! Created by Magn!tone London, this is called the Wipe Out and it’s a super soft microfibre cloth which when you soak it in warm water, will remove all of your makeup without needing to use any other product. I was a little sceptical at first, but having now tried it out for myself, I can happily say that it does work – how clever is that?! Eco-friendly and perfect for travelling with.

Balance Me Flash Cleanse Micellar Water (30ml travel size, RRP £16 for the full size)

Next up, there’s a product from one of my favourite skincare brands, Balance Me, so I was very happy to see this Flash Cleanse Micellar Water in the box. Made from 99% natural ingredients and cruelty-free, this micellar water is infused with Hyaluronic Acid to brighten the skin and lock in moisture, whilst nourishing Neroli Oil is included to give it a lovely scent and to further hydrate. Pop it into your summer holiday bag now!

Mudmasky Sleep Repair Renewal Nourishing Mask & Facial Detox Purifying Recovery Mask (15ml travel sizes, full sizes retail for £60 each)

Skincare fans will love these two from Mudmasky who are a high-end, luxury skincare brand (the full sizes for these two retail for £60 each!). On the left is the Sleep Repair Renewal Nourishing Mask which is an invisible night mask that absorbs instantly on application, so that you don’t get it all over your pillows. It has a pH balanced formula which contains Kaolin Clay, Rosewater and Shea Butter to brighten and revitalise the skin. I used this last night and it made my skin so soft and glowy this morning so it’s a definite winner.

On the right is the Facial Detox Purifying Recovery Mask which contains Moroccan Lava Clay, Japanese Matcha and Elderberry to detoxify the skin. This is perfect for the Summer months when your skin can feel a bit more congested than usual, as it draws out all of those pesky impurities and leaves the skin looking much clearer in just 10 minutes.

Jelly Pong Pong Stardrops Light-Activated Glow Drops (full size, RRP £32)

For makeup this month, Pink Parcel have included a full-size bottle of Jelly Pong Pong Stardrops Light-Activated Glow Drops worth £32, so this is a real beauty treat to find! The liquid golden formula can be used in many ways, from mixing a few drops into your morning moisturiser or foundation for a subtle glow, or applying it directly onto the cheekbones for a more luminous highlighter finish. It’s super easy to blend and I absolutely love the colour!

Joe & Seph’s Popcorn with Caramel & Belgian Chocolate (16g serving, full size is £4 for 80g)

Joe & Seph’s are one of my favourite brands of popcorn and this flavour is seriously moreish. The combination of sweet Caramel with a rich Belgian Chocolate coating just works so well here – it’s like a match made in heaven. Unfortunately, the bag didn’t last very long, but at less than 85 calories per serving, this is a tasty sweet treat!

We Are Tea Super Berry Infusion Tea (1 bag sample, full size is £2.99 for 15)

Finally, the last product in this month’s Pink Parcel box is a sample of We Are Tea’s Super Berry Infusion Tea which I enjoyed this morning with my breakfast. It has lots of health-boosting antioxidants from the blend of Red Berries, Hibiscus and Rosehip, and it makes a lovely fruity cuppa.

Our score: 9.8/ 10
