Mila and Pheebs create monthly themed boxes full of unique stationary and craft activities.
Aimed for children aged 6+ this box is great for busy parents. Everything you need to create fun crafts is provided – no glue or extras required. Its quality…or peace and quiet time (we all need that every now and then!) ready prepared and delivered straight through your letterbox.
When my son opened the package he couldn’t contain his excitement, he was beaming ear to ear and quickly teared into the green tissue paper to see what goodies were waiting for him. Who doesn’t love a surprise box of goodies?!
Inside this months Woodland themed box we got:
- Fun tree trunk colouring pencils x10,
- Hedgehog craft kit,
- Shiny hedgehog stickers,
- Cute felt fox paperclip,
- Bookmark making kit,
- Brown envelopes x4,
- Colouring in sheets x2,
- Scenery sheet,
- Felt squares x3,
- Decorative tape,
- Little collectable hedgehog eraser.
Harvey got straight into making the cute hedgehog. Inside the pack was a hedgehog shaped foam piece, a mixture of red and orange sticky back foam pieces, a googly eye, stick on feet and a green ribbon. He enjoyed being able to do it all by himself as the picture instructions were clear and easy to follow. I am now the proud owner of Henry the pet hedgehog who is hanging on my noticeboard!
He had fun doing the word search with a little bit of help from me, its just the right level of difficulty for his age group. Harvey also enjoyed colouring the woodland animal pictures in.
We loved making the bookmarks together, in the kit you get brightly coloured lolly pop sticks, foam stickers and wooden button animals. Harvey has gifted them to friends and family and has kept a few of his favourites for himself. He uses them as little characters to play with (kind of like a puppet show) rather than as a bookmark. He is super proud of his creations.
We all love his cool tree trunk colouring pencils (little bit jealous over here). He was so chuffed with them he took a few into school to show his friends.
The shiny hedgehog stickers are now adorning his bed frame and decorating most of his treasured possessions!
He has squirrelled away the collectable hedgehog eraser (I suspect he has taken it to bed with him) so I’m afraid there is no close up photo of this item to share but be assured its a cute little addition to the box.
Some of the spare craft bits have been used to create a wildlife scene which Harvey really enjoyed making.
I know myself working part time and having a 9 month old baby to tend too, I can sometimes be guilty of not being able to sit down and do fun things like this as often as I would like with Harvey. This box is a great way of getting that quality time back, it was a treat for both of us.
10 out of 10 for sure.
