Anonymous Jewellery – June 2017

I’m always interested to see new and unique subscription boxes on the market and I’m glad that more companies are creating subscription boxes and that new variations are being created such as jewellery subscription boxes. Anonymous Jewellery is a monthly jewellery subscription box starting at £10.90 per month with free worldwide shipping which is amazing!

The June box contains their most popular pieces. During the subscription process you can fill out a ‘style questionnaire’ which will help the Anonymous Jewellery stylist select items based on your preferences and based on costume jewellery trends. The number of pieces in your subscription box varies depending on which box you purchase, the £10.90 box contains two pieces, where as the £16.50 box contains four.

The packaging of the subscription box is perfect! The box fits through the letter box easily so you don’t need to be at home for it to be delivered. The items are well packaged and nicely presented so a subscription would make a lovely gift! The boxes don’t have themes as with most subscription boxes but the June box contains some of their most popular pieces.

In the box I received two gorgeous necklaces, not in my usual style but still so cute and a set of two bracelets. All of the items in the June box are perfect for summer! I also love that each item is individually packaged.

One of the most summery items in the box is this gorgeous long gold necklace which just screams summer at me as it has a bohemian and festival feel. The length on me personally is a little too long, probably as I’m so petite and I prefer short necklaces but it is so pretty!

The next item is another that I think would be ideal for summer holidays and summer festivals are these two cute bracelets featuring colourful tassels and if there’s one thing that sums up general festival fashion, it’s tassels (and glitter obviously!). I like how simple the bracelets are as well as how lightweight and easy to wear they are.

Last but not least another lovely necklace. I think this is probably my favourite item from the box as it is sparkly and feminine but it’s so simple too and minimalist jewellery is definitely my style (as well as pretty rose gold pieces).

The necklace is quite short which definitely suits me more than very long necklaces and it is lightweight too which makes it comfortable and easy to throw on. It goes with so many casual or more formal outfits because it is so simple and classic.

Our score: 9.4/ 10

Overall, for my first jewellery subscription box, I'm impressed, especially with the packaging, presentation and how seasonally perfect the pieces are. I think it's a great subscription, particularly for the price and how you don't need to keep track of the trends as on-trend pieces are selected for you!
